BASIC INFORMATION

2. The Ho Chi Minh City’s Peace Committee is an organization in Ho Chi Minh City, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO).
3. The HPC’s functions are extensive set of classes of people in Ho Chi Minh City activities for the purpose of peace and social progress.

4. The HPC’s scope of activities is to:
- Promote solidarity and support the struggle of peoples for peace, national independence, democracy, cooperation, development and social progress
- Contribute to the implementation of programs related to peace, friendship, cooperation and humanitarian, development, environmental protection, poverty reduction.
- Join studies of information on issues of peace, cooperation and development for extensive process of international integration of our country.
5. The Executive Committee comprises:

· Ms. Ngô Thị Phương Thiện, General Secretary
All institutions, organizations, individuals who voluntarily join the HPC, complete the registration process and agree with the HPC’s mandates, purposes and regulations are recognized as members of HCMC Peace Committee (as collective membership, sub-association, or individual membership). Subscriptions are based on the mutual and voluntary agreement.
