Basic information

1.     Title:

2.     Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam – Mongolia Friendship Association (the HVMFA) is an organization in Ho Chi Minh City, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO) and the Central Vietnam - Mongolia Friendship Association.

3.     The VMFA’s functions are in accordance with the Law of Vietnam and HUFO regulations. The VMFA has a legal entity, with its own stamp and bank account.

4.     The VMFA’s functions are to strengthen and promote the mutual understanding, the multi-faceted cooperation, friendship and solidarity between Vietnamese people in general, Ho Chi Minh City people in particular and Mongolian people.

5.     The VMFA’s scope of activities is to:

-         Coordinate governmental institutions, people’s organizations and societies in organizing activities to boost friendship between the peoples of Vietnam and Mongolia.

-         Promote Vietnam and introduce the foreign and domestic policies of Vietnamese government to the Mongolian people.

-         Inform the Vietnamese people about current issues in the Mongolia.

-         Build and develop friendship and cooperation with the Mongolia-Vietnam Society and other Mongolian socio-political organizations through exchanging delegations and the media such as photographs, films, publications and so on.

-         Support trade and economic links, as well as cooperation in science and technology, education and training, culture, sports, tourism, between Vietnamese organizations and individuals, and their Mongolian partners.

6.     The Executive Committee comprises:

All institutions, organizations and individuals, etc. who agree with the Association’s mandates and voluntarily join in the VMFA and complete the registration process, are recognized as members of HCMC Vietnam-Mongolia Friendship Association (as collective membership - sub-association, or individual membership). Subscriptions are based on the mutual and voluntary agreement.
